To create your own ice sculpture is a fantastic experience and in Åre you have the chance. We provide you with the crystal clear ice, the tools and an instructor. The only thing you need to do is unleash your inner artist, be creative and create a beautiful piece of art. Ice a vivid and very grateful material to work with and the ice we use is absolutely crystal clear. One kit contains; a smaller exercise block and a larger block (50 x 30 x 30 cm), tools, reindeer skin (to sit on) and lights to give the artwork different colors. There is always a guide around, to give instructions and to keep a fire burning where we make coffee and hot chocolate. One ice sculpture kit is suitable for one or maximum two persons to share the ice block and the tools.

Suddenly, you feel a strong tug on the ice fishing rod in your hand, and an intense battle begins between you and the Arctic char that just took the bait. After a brief struggle, you successfully pull the fish up through the hole and quickly drop your lure back down—Arctic char swim in schools, so now is the time to seize the opportunity.
For three hours, we’ll take you out onto the ice of a nearby lake or tarn in the Åre area, fishing in the best winter spots where Arctic char and trout are known to bite. During the trip, we’ll also treat you to some refreshments.
Experience: Guided ice fishing tour on a lake or tarn near Åre, including refreshments and transport by ATV and sled.
Location: Meeting point in Björnen (activity trailer outside Carins Krog).

In the central of Åre you can find the good old “Kälkspåret”, which meanders from Fjällgården along Bergbanan down to Åre. Here we offer, several evenings a week, the opportunity to “drop in” with friends and family and go a number of times on our different fun carriages in the 800-meter track. The carriages that are available are: Zibobs, Scorpioracers and sleds. This activity is a “drop in” activity that has a limited amount of tickets.
For the smoothest and fastest handling at pickup of carriages, we recommend pre-booking online via our website. If there is a large number of guests, we will make sure that the pre-booked guests gets a zibob/scorpionracer/sled first. For other guests it is the term “first come first served” that’s available and tickets can be purchased at the start (Bergbanan endstation) or at Fjällgården.
We are open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 18:00-20:00 week 52 – week 10 and Saturdays 18.00-20.00 from week 11 as long as there is enough snow.
Kälkspåret Race Park is an easy accessible adventure for guests in Åre who like to have fun in the snow together with family or friends.
Experience

1 run (5-10 min) or evening ticket valid for 2 hours.
Age-limit
Around 5 years to ride your own sled (under supervision of any adult). Age limit can be changed depending of snow conditions. For safety reasons we do not recommend to sit two persons in one sled.

Bring your own helmet, ski goggles and if you like, something to protect your face from snow spraying.
