Åre Gastronomy Walk (Winter)

Join us for a gastronomic snowshoe hike through a stunning winter landscape, where flavors, aromas, and temperatures are experienced in a completely new and unique way. During the tour, we stop at three different locations, each with its own theme, where you will be served a selection of local delicacies such as locally produced soup, artisan bread, regional cheeses, as well as locally made mulled wine and chocolate.

The specific ingredients may vary slightly throughout the season, but what remains constant is that our guides always share fascinating stories about both the products and the local producers behind them.

The tour starts and ends at Copperhill and covers approximately 1.5 km.

Personal equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes (layering is recommended to regulate body temperature during the tour)

Other: Snowshoes, poles, guide, and local tastings are included. Snowmobile suits and gloves are available for rent in very cold conditions.

Åre Gastronomy Walk (Summer)

Join us for a gastronomic hike in a breathtaking mountain environment—a world filled with flavors and aromas where all your senses will be delighted. During the hike, we stop at four different locations, each with its own theme, where you will enjoy a variety of local delicacies such as artisan cheeses, locally produced charcuterie, regional beverages, and finally locally roasted coffee from Åre Kafferosteri and handcrafted chocolate from Åre Chokladfabrik.

The selection of ingredients may vary slightly throughout the season, but what remains constant is that our guides always share engaging stories about both the products and the local producers behind them.

For groups looking for a simpler alternative with an easier walk, we also offer a historical village walk in central Åre. During this experience, we visit several historical sites while enjoying four different locally produced delicacies. The tour is conducted at a relaxed pace, with the guide sharing stories about Åre’s development—from early farming communities to the Alpine World Ski Championships in 2019.
